Your information, handled with care

Privacy Policy

Effective August 11, 2026. This policy explains how information is collected, used, and shared through Empire Builder Hub event registration pages.

Before publishing: Replace the highlighted contact placeholders and have this policy reviewed for the final brokerage, mortgage, franchise, and messaging setup.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to event pages operated by Empire Builder Hub, including registration for “Buy Smart. Sell Strong.” It covers information submitted through these pages and related communications. A presenter’s company or a third-party platform may maintain a separate privacy policy for its own services.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on the form and how you use the page, we may collect:

  • Your first and last name, email address, and mobile number.
  • Your homebuying or selling interests, expected timeline, and requested topic of assistance.
  • Your communication-consent choices and records related to those choices.
  • Registration source information, such as referral links and UTM campaign parameters.
  • Technical information such as browser type, device type, IP address, page activity, and approximate location derived from an IP address.
  • Messages or other information you voluntarily send when requesting assistance.

3. How We Use Information

We may use information to:

  • Process your registration and send confirmation, Zoom access information, event updates, and reminders.
  • Provide support and respond to questions.
  • Notify event organizers and presenters of registrations and interests relevant to the workshop.
  • Provide relevant follow-up where you have consented or where otherwise permitted by law.
  • Measure registration sources, improve future events, maintain security, prevent misuse, and comply with legal obligations.

4. How Information May Be Shared

We may share information only as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including with:

  • The event hosts and their organizations, including Kelley Simms, James Gillespie, Troy Squires, and their approved business affiliates, to administer the workshop and respond to the interests you select.
  • Service providers that support forms, contact management, hosting, email, text messaging, analytics, scheduling, and video conferencing, including GoHighLevel/LeadConnector and Zoom.
  • Professional advisers, government authorities, or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.
  • A successor organization in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of relevant business assets, subject to applicable law.

We do not sell or rent mobile opt-in information. Mobile numbers and SMS consent records will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Providers may process this information only as needed to deliver and support the communications you request.

5. Text Messages

If you separately check the text-message consent box, you agree to receive workshop-related messages such as confirmation, access information, reminders, and relevant follow-up. Consent is not a condition of purchasing goods or services. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance. Opting out of text messages does not unsubscribe you from email.

6. Cookies and Analytics

The event page and its service providers may use cookies, pixels, local storage, or similar technology to operate forms, remember campaign information, measure page activity, and improve performance. Browser controls may allow you to limit cookies, although some functions may not work as intended.

7. Retention and Security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to administer the event, provide requested follow-up, maintain business and consent records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

8. Your Choices and Requests

You may ask to access, correct, or delete certain personal information, or object to certain uses, subject to applicable law and recordkeeping requirements. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in those messages. To make a request, contact [insert privacy contact email]. We may need to verify your identity.

9. Children’s Privacy

These event pages are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through these pages.

10. External Services

Links and embedded tools may lead to services we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Review those policies before submitting information directly to an external service.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as services, legal requirements, or event practices change. The effective date at the top will identify the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated when required by law.
